 WHAT
IS BOTOX®? |
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a miracle drug;
a few tiny injections and years
of age and wrinkles are removed
in a few days. Specifically
approved by the FDA for the
treatment of frown lines between
the eyebrows, standard treatments
may include removal of forehead
lines and treatment of Crow’s
feet lines around the eyes.

innovative treatments with Botox
including eyebrow lifts, lip
and chin wrinkle removal, and
neck band treatment. |
| HOW
DOES IT WORK? |
The wrinkles
in the facial area make us look
old and tired. When injected
beneath the skin, BOTOX®
Cosmetic causes the muscles
to relax, so that the skin is
no longer puckered.
The wrinkles begin to disappear
within a few days after treatment
leaving the skin with a smooth
appearance. The effects of BOTOX®
usually wear off in 4-6 months. |
| WHAT
TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT? |
| The tiny injections
may cause some redness for a
few hours, however they do not
cause any down time. Patients
may return to full activities
and work immediately after treatment.
Occasionally, some bruising
may occur which will last a
few days. |

safest drugs in the world. The results and
the side effects are always temporary. |

No, BOTOX® is used
for cosmetic treatments on the upper lip,
lower lip, chin, jaw, and the neck. It also
has other medical uses in the underarms, hands,
and feet to prevent excessive sweating. |

Is it painful to have BOTOX® treatment? |

No, the injections
are performed with such a fine gauge needle
that patients do not feel or mind the pain.
Not a single patient of mine, in the thousands
of injection which I have given, complained
that they could not tolerate the completion
of the procedure. |
